Homebaked Bakery is an internationally recognised brand. The bakery was a finalist in the BBC Good Food Awards 2019, is one of the NatWest SE100 top 100 Social Enterprises for 2019 & 2020 and was a finalist in the Leadership Category of the SE100 Awards.

Over the last 3 years we have been consistently high performers at the British Pie Awards winning 12 medals in 2020, which was the third highest out of over 150 pie producers from around the country.

The bakery has featured on BBC television locally and nationally, on BBC Radio Merseyside, BBC 6 Music, BBC 5 Live and BBC Radio 4 and has been featured in newspapers in the US, all over Europe including La Monde and South Korea.

Homebaked Cooperative was shortlisted for two categories in the Social Enterprise UK Awards, the ‘Oscars’ of the Social Enterprise Sector and won the Transformative Community Business Award. Angela McKay- the Operations Manager and the bakery are one of 10 shortlisted organisations for the prestigious University of Cambridge Social Venture prize for 2020. 

The bakery is an exemplar community business for First Ark and Power to Change and regularly hosts other community businesses and social enterprises via Locality, School for Social Entrepreneurs and local Housing Associations.
